Primary use — home fragrance

Raw Veda is designed as a botanical home perfume — to scent your living space, not your skin. Hold the bottle 20–30 cm away and do 5-6 sprays into the air, allowing the mist to settle naturally into the room. For a longer-lasting effect, spray lightly onto soft surfaces such as curtains, cushions, bed linen, or upholstery from a distance of at least 30 cm to avoid any potential staining on delicate fabrics.

Longevity

Raw Veda fragrances are made without LPG propellant, synthetic fixatives, or phthalates — the chemicals that give conventional room sprays their long-lasting hold. As a result, the scent of our botanical sprays is softer, cleaner, and more natural, but it will fade faster than a synthetic alternative. This is entirely normal and expected.

The longevity of each scent will vary depending on the size of the room, ventilation, humidity, temperature, and the specific botanical notes of the fragrance. Heavier base notes such as Oudh and Sandalwood tend to linger longer than lighter florals such as Mogra or Chameli.

Individual variation

Fragrance perception is deeply personal. The same scent can smell different to different people depending on their individual body chemistry, sensitivity, and olfactory memory. If you are applying Raw Veda to your skin, the warmth of your body and your natural pH will also affect how the fragrance develops and projects. This is a characteristic of natural perfumery and is not a quality issue.

Seasonal and batch variation

Our botanical ingredients — flowers, roots, resins, and wood — are sourced from nature. As with all natural materials, their aroma and character can vary subtly between harvests depending on weather, soil conditions, and seasonal availability. This means there may be slight variations in fragrance character between product batches. These variations are a mark of authenticity, not inconsistency.

04  Storage & Shelf Life

To preserve the quality and integrity of your Raw Veda fragrance, please follow these storage guidelines:

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and humidity.

• Do not store near windows, radiators, or in bathrooms where temperature and moisture fluctuate.

• Keep the bottle upright with the cap securely closed when not in use.

• Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures — heat accelerates the breakdown of essential oils.

• The bottle is made of glass — handle with care and store away from the edges of shelves.

05  Safety Information

General safety

• Raw Veda products are for external use only. Do not ingest under any circumstances.

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

• Do not spray near open flames, incense, or heat sources — while Raw Veda contains no aerosol gas, denatured alcohol and essential oils are flammable.

• In case of accidental ingestion, seek immediate medical attention.

• If skin irritation or an allergic reaction occurs after use, discontinue immediately and consult a healthcare professional.

Allergen awareness

Raw Veda products contain natural essential oils which may include naturally occurring allergens such as linalool, limonene, eugenol, geraniol, citronellol, and farnesol — compounds found in flowers, citrus, and woody botanicals. These are present as part of the natural ingredient profile, not as added synthetic chemicals.

If you have known sensitivities to any botanical ingredients, please review the full ingredient list on each product before use. When in doubt, perform a patch test or consult your healthcare provider before use.

06  Fabric & Surface Care

Raw Veda is alcohol-based and does not contain aerosol propellants, making it significantly safer on fabrics than conventional room sprays. However, please follow these guidelines to protect your furnishings:

• Always spray from a distance of at least 30 cm from fabric surfaces.

• Test on an inconspicuous area of delicate, light-coloured, or antique fabrics before general use.

• Do not spray directly onto silk, suede, leather, or very fine fabrics.

• Do not spray onto polished wood surfaces, paintings, or electronics.

• Essential oils may leave a faint residue on some surfaces — wipe with a dry cloth if needed.

• For best results on bed linen and cushions, spray from a distance and allow to dry before contact.
